When Cole and Gianna Chadwick, tied the marital knot in the summer of 2019 they needed a special centerpiece for their ceremony. Only something as unique as they are and handcrafted to match the warmth of their connection would do. Gravity Garden stepped in to design and fabricate a custom piece for them to be wed under in a special way. This timberframe wedding arbor is a type of truss often seen in post and beam structures known as a hammerbeam truss. It transfers structural load to the ground in a “cathedral arch” fashion. The scale of the piece was based on the height of the bride and groom, to frame them ever so perfectly. All wood joinery was hand carved out of 4”x4” pine lumber.
